eCommerce Manager

Job Purpose:
This is a position leading Peace Love World's growing global production and ecommerce team. Based in our Miami corporate office and reporting to the VP Operations, the ecommerce candidate will have 5-10 years minimum experience in the apparel, preferably the luxury apparel, industry. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to identify, analyze, and understand the e-commerce requirements for Peace Love World as well as help maintain ecommerce functionality. This person will be responsible for all online marketing efforts including ROI analysis and KPI measurement.

Job Duties:
• Monitor and manage performance of online-marketing campaigns, services and providers; conduct ROI analysis, manage onboarding of new vendors, record and analyze performance; identify and provide solutions for under-performing vendors, services and campaigns in real-time.
• Collaborate with various departments including sales, marketing and operations to determine the best strategies for success in a multi-channel environment; support other channels with ecommerce knowledge and online-marketing leadership.
• Analyze past performance of collections, categories and campaigns; determine the best course of action for new arrivals, past season inventory and best sellers.
• Oversee daily ecommerce marketing efforts including contributing ideas for email and SMS campaigns, following up on creative work, working with webmaster to prepare site; confirm inventory availability for special events.
• Implement and monitor a process of continuous improve involving competitor analysis, SWOT analysis, monitoring of customer experience and evaluating customer satisfaction.
• Monitor core site metrics that drive KPIs and make plans to improve when and where necessary.
• Produce, and automate when possible, reporting of KPIs, core metrics and ecommerce performance.
• Manage external developers and ecommerce personnel.
• Oversee administration and development of Magento ecommerce platform and associated infrastructure; monitor performance, perform testing, respond to and aid fixing of issues with the site and enroll support of partners when necessary. AWS experience preferred.

Skills/Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in an ecommerce environment, multi-channel retail experience is a plus.
• Extensive experience in partnering with merchandizing, marketing, fulfillment, customer service, and technology operations.
• Experience project management through platform changes; upgrades, testing and integration of new technology and systems.
• Proven leadership and project management with excellent inter-personal skills.
• Strong business acumen.
• Knowledge of best-in-breed ecommerce technology solutions.
• Must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
• Strong analytical/modeling skills with ability to convert raw data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint required.
• Experience with web analytical and marketing tools/services.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce technology, including platform, payment process, content management, etc.
• AWS and Magento experience preferred.

Job Purpose:

Designer, Apparel

Job Purpose:
Located in our Peace Love World corporate offices, the Graphic Designer for Apparel will develop and design graphic concepts that achieve the overall product strategy, quality and financial objectives for Peace Love World.

Job Duties:
• Forecast and interpret seasonal fashion trends.
• Assist in designing brand appropriate garments.
• Assist in enhancing trend, color, silhouette, and fabric direction.
• Spec out final designs before submitting to production.
• Develop concepts using inspiration and samples in trend presentations.
• Stays abreast of trends, new techniques, and resources in graphic design.
• Assist in identifying specific materials, color palettes, patterns, and prints for the season.
• Work closely with designer, merchandiser, and production team participating in pre-concept meetings to create well-balanced, saleable lines.
• Work as a partner with Production team, assist in reviewing development samples.
• Assist in the tracking and approval of fabric samples, lab dips, strike-offs and other development materials.
• Adhere to the time and action calendars.
• Ability to take ownership of a project and lead it from concept to production while meeting assigned deadlines.

Skills/Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years in design.
• Bachelor degree in Fashion, Apparel Design, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).

Retail Store Manager

Job Purpose:
Peace Love World is looking for dynamic, passionate, and driven individuals to join our team. Job Duties:
• Sales - Responsible for achieving personal and store sales goals.
- Continue to develop personal sales techniques to maximize sales to meet or exceed personal and store selling goals.
- Monitor and communication daily, weekly and monthly business results for the store.
- Ensure all sales related policies and procedures are maintained.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise, and develop product knowledge among selling staff.
- Ability to demonstrate and lead by example elevated level of sales and service including the company’s culture of Peace, Love, and Happiness.

• Customer Service

• Operations

- Support and assist in staff training in all areas of appropriate register usage and maintenance.
- Understand and properly execute all management register functions
- Participate in inventories.
- Understand and execute cash control procedures including: bank deposits, safe funds, petty cash.
• Merchandising
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of all merchandising/ visual directives.
- Ensure the selling floor is neat, clean, organized and reflects the correct visual image at all times.
- Ensure deliveries are properly processed in a timely manner.
- Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner.
- Communicate inventory needs to support the business goal.

Skills/Qualifications:
• 2 to 5 years of retail experience.

Design Merchandiser

Job Purpose:
The Design Merchandiser role should be experienced in leading design and graphic teams with product development knowledge from concept to production. She/he will be tasked with a mission to ensure the integrity of the brand and to support our sales, marketing and production teams. This position offers a collaborative, creative and entrepreneurial environment that provides employees with an opportunity to share their vision and express their creativity.

Job Duties:
• Work closely with the Creator & Visionary to ensure seamless brand vision and to create brand-right product programs by merchandising multiple collections.
• Collaborate and execute conceptual ideas with the creative team.
• Assort collections to reflect design message while also commercially viable.
• Forecast and interpret seasonal fashion direction, assortment opportunities and merchandise trends for all product categories.
• Enhance the trend, color, silhouette and fabric direction.
• Regularly shop the retail markets seeking new merchandise/trend ideas.
• Coordinate the design process: development, selection and approval of materials, trims, silhouettes, colors and fit.
• Responsible for communicating design information to production.
• Work with technical design and pre-production with regard to drawings, representations of fabric, trims, graphic artwork, and products such that construction, sewing and spec information is interpreted exactly as intended.
• Present line plan and styles. Communicate feedback from initial line presentation to Design team.
• Conduct fit sessions to review and approve counter samples for design silhouette.
• Accountable for all steps of development approvals.
• Review class and SKU selling presented by sales to prepare SKU plan for future seasons.
• Requires moderate domestic travel and potential international travel.

Technical Designer

Job Purpose:
Located in our Peace Love World corporate offices, the Technical Designer will be responsible for garment uniformity and consistency as it pertains to fit, construction and quality. He/she would be responsible for executing consistent production fit, grading, pattern, construction approvals and maintaining accurate measurement specifications. It is key for products to be consistent with Peace Love World standards as well as production deadlines are met.

Job Duties:
• Create templates for technical production and design department.
• Be able to conduct fit sessions independently and manage process.
• Be able to fit and correct garments in fittings and translate those corrections to patterns and/or comments.
• Change/alter all tech sketches based on weekly fit comments/corrections.
• Assist in creating weekly fit lists for weekly fittings.
• Assist in measuring and specking of incoming garments for weekly fittings.
• Create/Set up initial tech packs in Web PDM, edit as needed, document fit comments, specs, and bill of materials.
• Manage flow of information related to fit process, such as tracking samples, update tech log, sending fit list, and communicating with factory counterparts.
• Serve as the liaison and project manager for vendors and manufacturers.
• Provide factory with sewing instructions.
• Check in all packages received from factories.
• Create and manage Illustrator tech sketches for tech packs.
• Assist production team in pattern analysis and correction.
• Assist production team in pattern analysis versus cutter’s must upon reception from our freelance pattern makers and correct accordingly if necessary.
• Work with Design in Product Line Sheet management.
• Work with Production to ensure calendar deadlines are met.
• Organize and maintain data history (samples and patterns).

Skills/Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years experience in technical design.
• Bachelors Degree in Technical Design or Fashion Design preferred.
• Expert technical skill proficiency using WEB PDM systems.
• Required experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong knowledge of patternmaking and grading.
• Apparel construction and tailoring is required.
• Ability to evaluate fit problems on live models.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with design and production teams to achieve business results.
• Ability to manage the calendar to achieve on-time goals and objectives.
• Ability to deal with rapidly changing organizational issues.

Sample Room Manager

Job Purpose:
Based in our Miami corporate office and reporting to the Senior Production Manager, the Sample Room Manager must have 7-10 years minimum experience in the industry, must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position ensures that fit and construction is executed to meet the needs of design and production. This individual will also develop and train team members as needed; lead team by example and ensure the workload is distributed evenly within the team and promote cross-functional team building. This is a permanent, full time Miami-based position.

Job Duties:
• Able to execute and create a development pattern from designer sketch and inspiration images.
• Work with Designers to interpret or translate vision from paper to fabric and from image to actual design.
• Supervise execution of first samples to ensure they are constructed correctly and timely (requires working well with and accurately directing sample makers).
• Responsible for pattern cards, specs and all pattern documentation and organization.
• Develop fit standards to ensure consistency of fit for each product category.
• Conduct fittings with live models for all garments to meet company standards, designer standards and buyer standards.
• Participate in production fitting with designers and make final adjustment to production pattern.
• Perform all pattern corrections necessary as a result of fittings and/or requested changes.
• Cooperate with management as needed to solve any production issues that may arise with patterns developed.
• Researching new ideas to improve product development.
• Great interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team.
• Candidate should be team-oriented, computer literate and highly organized.

Skills/Qualifications:
• High School degree required.
• 5+ years of strong pattern making experience using the Gerber System.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Position requires pattern making experience and pattern correction skills. Applicants must be able to adjust patterns to reflect fit changes.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, sewing, technical drawing, measuring and fitting.
• Understanding of technical terminology, machinery and computer design programs.
• Ability to organize work, manage time and schedule projects to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
