Peace Day Photo Shoot
Today is International Peace Day and Rock is trying to prep for it…I am trying to think how can I represent Peace? Am I even Peace at all? My parents would probably say heck no!! I am a one woman circus! I am the girl at yoga (the most peaceful exercise) who the instructor gets mad at because I cannot hold a position for more than a second or who cannot say namasted without bursting out laughing…I couldn’t stand still at the Peace Day photo shoot with sisters, Katrina and Natalie (hence the picture to the right, I am supposed to be posing but I am talking! Of course!)…
Put it this way..Have you ever been to Time Square? Yea well that might be the best representation of my brain! There is nothing peaceful about me….I don’t think I have an ounce of peace in my soul…If anything I feel like the Rock disrupts the peace….I am every public library’s or church ceremony’s worst nightmare…
So I thought to myself…I don’t necessarily have to be a quiet or tranquil person to promote peace….
IT HIT ME! My inspiration for this particular day is….(drum roll)… Kemy Joseph AKA Mr. AwEsOmE…He showed me that you can promote peace through his cool, caring actions and his motivational signs .…
So great news! I can still be 100% me and promote peace! I can give free hugs, high fives, or “peaceful” pounds (appropriate gesture for today) to my family, friends, and co-workers like our buddy Mr. Awersome! Or I can even rock one of our I am Peace themed items (which I am) , so it can be sort of like a sign that Mr. Awesome wears…I totally dressed super “profesh” by the way…I’m wearing a blazer (that’s right a blazer) a peace burnout tank….some cute new Jbrand’s I just bought and some funky heels….I am dressing in Peace in style ladies and gents!
