Today was Day 2 of our photo shoot in LA with famed photographer, Adam Bouska. As if yesterday weren’t magical enough, today was even more so! Yesterday was a beautiful day hanging out with our friends Bob Guiney and Melissa Sandvig. We flew cross-country to take their pictures for the PLW website (and also support the NoH8 campaign). It was a great day with a lot of pictures taken. Melissa modeled the new, up and coming dance line for point dancers called “I am Perfection.” Bob modeled all the latest and greatest mens shirts.
Later we went to dinner with Bob and a few of his friends including Scott Grimes, currently in the new Robin Hood movie, and Kari, who occasionally appeared on Bravo TV’s show “Flipping Out,” one of my faves. The dinner was delicious and the people were very nice.
This morning after Tata’s Starbucks run, we got ready for Day 2 of the shoot. Jeanine Mason was coming by to take some pics in our new items. We had also scheduled Cami Katz, a darling 10-year old we met last time we were in LA. Her mom is a good friend to PLW so we were so happy to have this cheerful child pose for us.
When they showed up, they brought a surprise visitor, Melissa Rycroft! Melissa, as you may remember, was the chosen one from a recent season of “The Bachelor” but was jilted on live, national television! I had never seen the show but I remembered reading about it. Just a few days after that she went on to star in and take third place during season 8 of “Dancing With the Stars.” She was the sweetest, cutest, tiniest thing you’ve ever seen.
She was just hanging out with everyone for the day, so of course Alina put her in a tank top and sent her in front of the camera! It was so much fun and we are all dying to see the pictures that Adam took! Until then, we have some behind the scenes pics that Tata took with her new camera. I took some flip video too but am not quite that skilled yet at editing so I’ll upload a snippet or two until Harold gets to editing.
I absolutely CANNOT wait until tomorrow…. I’m going to meet Kate Gosselin!! I’m dying of excitement and can’t wait to tell you about it!
