So let’s talk about “Love” in the PLW workplace…I have some steamy gossip for you guys (haha jk this is a gossip free zone)…and no, I’m not talking about that boy/girl kind of love…I’m talking about a simple smile, a hug, or even a “Good job today” type of love…
In the past, I’ve pretty much enjoyed every place I have worked. (but I think I have that easygoing personality about me – haha) no for real, ever since I came to PLW, I could honestly say I have really enjoyed being here. I have never seen a group of employees like the team at PLW. Everyone’s respect and love for each other is LEGIT! You would think you would have to shake your boss’ or coworkers’ hand after a meeting, but not here ladies and gents! At PLW, we straight up go in for the kill…I’m talking “Danny Tanner” style hugs! You Full House fans know what I’m talking about!
Let me throw out some examples. Every morning at the office, everybody comes in (before punching in, so they’re not getting paid for this) and give a kiss on the cheek to everybody. I remember my first week at PLW I saw Juani (Peace Love Mom) come in and give everyone a kiss hello. I remember thinking to myself, “Is she going to give me a kiss hello, even though we don’t know eachother that well?
OMG! Was I supposed to do that when I came in? Are they going to think I was rude?” Haha yea so I guess you can say I panicked. You better believe after witnessing everyone doing this hello routine, I became ALL about it! I’m like walking around giving high fives, hugs, kisses, pretty much every kind of way you say hello! Also, I’m going to throw out another funny example that I loved.
Ok so listen up, Debbie (aka Debs), Angie (I call her Ang, Boss or cutie whatever mood I’m in), and I were in some major email “back and forth” convo about a picture of a gift basket. I copied and pasted the convo so you can see how a simple convo about a gift basket turned into a total love and appreciation fest between me and Debs! (and Angie is still “CCed” throughout the convo lol)

Talk about a motivational boost right there. After this convo, I felt really good and it made me want to do great work for Peace Love World. Anyway, the point to my post is that sometimes showing some TLC with your coworkers can really help build a successful company. So have no fear followers (I think I have like 5 and BMan is my dad just so you know), when you walk through these doors don’t be surprised if you’re attacked with peace and love (like the guy in the Axe body spray commercials).
