Peace Love World Creator and Visionary Alina Villasante greeted America with a very lovely “¡Buenos Días!” with her recent appearance on Telemundo’s morning program Levántate—which translates to “Get Up!”—and Alina sure did rise to the occasion!

Our creator-in-chief took over the 9am timeslot by showing off a typical workday-in-the-life at Peace Love World during a videotaped segment, then joined host Azucena Cierco on air for a special PLW fashion show. (Included were some new PLW faves like the Boheme Just Love Wide Leg Pants and Love2Love Pima Scarves!)

But it wasn’t all fashion and flash. In between introducing each fabulous look, Alina shared her own outlook on how peace, love, and happiness are the true keys to success and how she puts that same passion into her work. Always a ray of sunshine (even in the wee hours of the day!), Alina left viewers with this golden nugget of motivational morning advice: “If you have an amazing idea, and you fully believe in it, then Go For It!”  … We’re certainly up for that!

On last week’s So You Think You Can Dance recap, the top six dancetestants continued their trek towards becoming America’s Favorite Dancer and Ricky, Sasha, and Melanie did it in Peace Love World!

Performance Night started out with Ricky’s introduction in our PLW Just Love Organic Crew Tee. Not to be outdone, Sasha performed her Elimination Night solo in a dueling Just Love Perfect V-Neck of her own. Who wore it better? Well, Ricky was handsome, but Sasha’s got us split (just like in her pic here!). We’ll simply say we “Just Love” them both!

Meanwhile, judge favorite Melanie stepped out in our PLW I am Free Hoodie during her rehearsals with SYTYCD All-Star Twitch. Hmm, Melanie in the I am Free Hoodie, you say? Incidentally, the same hoodie is modeled on the PLW site by SYTYCD Season Five winner Jeanine Mason … a foreshadowing of things to come for Miss Melanie? We’ll have to wait next week when America votes and the Number One Dancer is revealed!

As the dancers pas de deux and pop-and-lock their way to the So You Think You Can Dance finals, PLW favorite Ricky Jaime continues to impress with his body of dance work, from the top of his head to his trusty legs (outfitted in Peace Love World Pants, natch.)

On last week’s competition, the lanky Miami native drew the jive as his first round. Paired with SYTYCD All-Star Anya, Mr. Jaime jumped, jived, and wailed in rehearsals, all whilst wearing our own Simply Happy L2L Pants. Come performance night, and Ricky went “River Deep, Mountain High” with his Russian partner, trading turns and flips with ease.

The result? A generally glowing response from judges Mary Murphy and guest Rob Marshall, but the odd response from head commenter Nigel Lythgoe, who criticized Ricky of—all things—being too tall. Low blow, indeed. Allow superstar guest judge Lady Gaga to make it all better: “I love that you’re up there, because that’s you!”

So will the tall drink of water leave ‘em thirsty for more this week? Yes, as Ricky will be returning for the this week’s episode on his quest to become America’s Favorite Dancer.

On July 23, 2011, Jennifer Lopez boldly showed her peace towards her pending divorce to Marc Anthony appearing in Atlanta in a complete “Peace” ensemble from clothing brand, Peace Love World. America’s Got Talent quarterfinalists Miami All Stars won’t be fading anytime soon. In fact, the multi-member dance troupe shined even more brightly despite almost falling due to a last-minute change just hours before showtime last week.

Ready and well-rehearsed for their live performance, the team discovered that some of their music didn’t clear for broadcast, so they quickly scrambled and re-choreographed their Latin medley number. The result? A high-octane ballroom jazz routine with enough lifts and throws to please a bodybuilder and baseball player, respectively. Also pleased? The judges. (Said Piers Morgan: “Fabulous! Sexy! Fun!”)

And speaking of fun, our television enjoyment level peaked upon seeing the entire dance squad decked out in our “I am Peace” White Hoodie Tees (fully customized with “Miami All Stars” emblazoned on the sleeves), plus a few select limber gals in “I am Funk” Pants. As judge Howie Mandel described it, “Mucho Caliente!” (And even though it really is “Muy Caliente,” no worries, the feeling is still mutual.)

So You Think You Can Dance contestant Ricky Jaime may be called by two first names, but this isn’t the last you’ll hear from him. The über-talented 19-year-old contemporary dancer wowed with two solid routines with very pretty partner Ryan Ramirez last week.

Right off the bat, we knew we’d be screaming “Ricky! Ricky! Ricky!” when we spotted Mr. Jaime—a Miami, FL native—in our very own “I am Blessed” V-Neck Tee! (It was so good, we almost forgot to notice SYTYCD host Cat Deeley’s wacky Disco-meets-Swan Lake get-up.)

For their first performance, Ricky and Ryan tackled a Broadway-style number choreographed to Frank Sinatra’s “All I Need Is The Girl.” Cameras spied Ricky in rehearsals sporting our Simply Happy L2L Hoodie (which is exactly the sentiment we feel when we see Ricky dance!). Then the Double R’s (Ricky + Ryan) returned with a sizzling Cha Cha, which impressed judge Mary Murphy so much that she invited Ricky to ride on her (in)famous Hot Tamale Train … All Aboard!

As if we didn’t know it already, Miami is chock full of talented dancers! In 2009 Jeanine Mason first won the title of “America’s Favorite Dancer” on “So You Think You Can Dance” and competed with two other top 10 dancers from Miami - Brandon Bryant and Janette Manrara.

The talent keeps on pouring out of Miami. Tonight check out Miami All-Stars on “America’s Got Talent” on NBC 9pm EST.  Your Miami All-Stars will be wearing PLW and spreading the peace and love!

Congratulations to Hines Ward, winner of the season 12 “Dancing With the Stars!”  He is noticably HAPPY and we don’t blame him!

Hines has cha-cha-cha’d his way into our homes and hearts garnering enough fans to win the coveted mirrorball trophy!  It was a tough call, we were rooting for all three of the finalists. With Hines’ charm, athleticism and determination, the trophy was meant to be his.  It was not always a possibility, with the serious neck injury sustained by his professional dance partner, Kym Johnson, during rehearsal a couple weeks ago.  Thankfully, Kym has recovered, and has earned her first mirroball trophy in America, having won her first in Australia’s “Dancing With the Stars” season 2.

Today Kym and Hines (along with the other finalists) appeared on “Good Morning America” this morning when Hines wore it best: HAPPY.  As Hines and Kym entered the staging area in Times Square, Lara Spencer commented, “That shirt says it all, Hines is happy!”

We always look forward to watching the finalists perform the freestyle routines.  Chelsea Kane has amazing technique and enough charisma to light up Hollywood.  Having been partnered with Mark Ballas, a two-time winner, was not a bad deal either.  Mark always knows how to pull it out in the free-style and this time was no exception. It was incredible!  Chelsea rocked it out in rehearsal for her hip hop routine wearing I am Chaos sweatpants from the Love 2 Love collection. Mark arrived to “Good Morning America” in our Love 2 Love I am Chaos t-shirt.  They are chaos! Congratulations, Chelsea and Mark!

No one really knew what to expect from Maks and Kirstie.  He’s the bad boy of DWTS and Kirstie was the oldest partner this season. Week after week they came to win – no matter what.  Kirstie fell down, lost a shoe, lost weight, and the list goes on….  Seems like having Maks as a partner will push you to your limits and bring out the best.  Kirstie finished in second place – BRAVO!  There are rumors that Maks may not return next season, but I hope it’s just a rumor. He looks great in our I am Free t-shirt and I want to see more of that next season! Congratulations to Kirstie and Maks for making it to second place!
