PLW Scores a Homerun

It’s all about Miami… the Miami Marlins, our Major League Baseball team, that is! As you know, Peace Love World is a Miami-based company, and we LOVE our home teams. We were especially excited while watching The Franchise: A Season With The Miami Marlins last night and we spotted Ibis Guillen wearing a Peace Love World top!

I know some of you may be asking, who is Ibis Guillen? Ibis is Ozzie Guillen’s -(the coach of the Miami Marlins)- wife of nearly 30 years. The show spent a day with the Guillens, and Ibis looked fantastic in our Amanda Boheme Almond Tank (the color looks amazing on every skin color!). Ibis explained how family oriented she and Ozzie are and, followed by a photo tour of the Guillens influential past in baseball.

Peace is Glam

Glam Fairy1 300x257 Peace is Glam Who is the glammy-ist fairy in New Jersey? It’s Alexa Prisco, aka “The Glam Fairy” on The Style Network’s hit show Jerseylicious.

On a recent episode Alexa sported one of our most comfy fleece tops, the grey Jeanine Crew Sweater in Peace. We know it’s her fave because she’s tweeted it before and has even dedicated a Glam Fairy blog to the comfort and style of Peace Love World (did I mention I got a shout-out?!).

Alexa said it’s great for travel, and now she knows it’s great for work, too. (But we knew that already, didn’t we?)

Summer Loving

Love is in the air. With her doting fiancé always by her side and her popular and previously unreleased song, “Love 2 Love U” making its rounds, it’s safe to assume that Britney Spears is feeling more affectionate than usual these days.

Further confirming our suspicions, Ms. Spears was recently spotted in a PLW hoodie from none other than the Love 2 Love collection.

Britney, seen here sporting the At Peace L2L Hoodie at the airport in Maui, Hawaii is on a weeklong break from filming auditions for reality show, the X Factor.

It’s nice to see Brit spending some QT with the family and it’s only fitting that she’d be doing it in Peace Love World. After all R&R and PLW go hand in hand like fun in the sun.

Momager Knows Best

Normally seen out and about in no less than five-inch heels, youngest Kardashian sister Khloe took a style cue from mom, Kris Jenner on a recent episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians.

We have to admit we love to love Khloe in Peace Love World and apparently so does older sister, Kim. She recently shared an Instagram pic of Khloe playing camera crew in her Love 2 Love Lemon I am Happiness Hoodie.

In a recent episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” Kris was burning the candle at both ends. Running multiple businesses and managing a family of that size would put anyone into overdrive.

Olympian Dara Torres’ Golden Moment in PLW

Olympic swimming superstar and 12-time medalist Dara Torres visited CNN’s Piers Morgan for a chat about motherhood, moguldom, and yes, training for a possible sixth(!) Olympic Games. The 45-year-old Peace Love World brandfan shined on camera, wearing our PLW Comfy KT I am America Long-Sleeve Tee in golden Yellow (coincidentally the same shade as her collection of winning medals!).

On the show, the single mom also showed off her six-pack abs, an impressive result from her daily six hour workouts while training for the Olympic trials. But when she’s not in the pool, Dara loves to tool around her hometown of Fort Lauderdale, FL decked in Peace Love World, whether she’s shuttling daughter Tessa to school or juggling her schedule as a TV commentator, model, and author.

If she makes it through next month’s trials, Dara would be the oldest female Olympic swimmer in history (besting her own age records from 2000 and 2008). And then, just maybe we’ll see Dara wearing her I am America Tee in London? Good luck Dara!

Last night on “Dancing With the Stars” the judges were passing out 10’s like candy – and much deserved!

Having just returned home from watching the finals performance live in Los Angeles on Monday night, the race was too close to predict. William and Cheryl set fire to the dance floor with their sexy Latin number while Donald and Peta took a chance on a country song. Who says country doesn’t pay off? Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke took home the mirrorball trophy with a country song Season 2. It was a risk that paid off when Donald and Peta were announced as winners for Season 14!

DWTS Rocks Out Week 4

Dancing With the Stars rocked week 4 with a Rock and Roll theme where the couples we asked to perform to famous rock songs. Some stars needed a little help in the head-banging department (not to mention Melissa Gilbert who literally banged her head on partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s leg and got a mild concussion), but for the most part the contestants rocked the competition.

It appears week 4 has changed the contest a little with new leaders on the board. Green Bay Packers Wide Reciever Donald Driver and ‘Extra’ host Maria Menounous seem to have stolen the show with their great performances. Donald Driver and his partner Peta Murgatroyd (who rehearsed in a Just Love Boheme Blush AV Slit Top) brought the house down with a Paso Doble to “Purple Haze” by Jimi Hendrix.
